The West Jackson community invites residents to the West Jackson Annual Back to School Event on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Livingston Park, 2918 West Capitol Street, Jackson, MS. Join neighbors in making a difference for our community and people in need through fellowship, food, retail, crafts, and music vendors, a visit to the Jackson Zoo, games, the splash pad, and park nature trails. The event is supported by West Jackson Communities, Colonial Heights West/Country Club Place, community leaders, local politicians, and law enforcement. It is hosted by Sheka Epps as organizer, along with Hinds County Supervisor Deborah Butler Dixon, State Representative Zakiya Summers of District 68, and Councilman Vernon Hartley.
