JAN Membership

The Jackson Association of Neighborhoods (JAN) is a Mississippi 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation based in Jackson, MS, managed by a board of directors with representatives from every ward in the city. JAN’s mission is to help Jackson strengthen neighborhoods by working together with neighborhoods, organizations, and stakeholders to become more effective at solving problems and improving their communities.

Membership Dues Structure

JAN’s membership structure reflects a modest adjustment for inflation while maintaining our commitment to accessibility, equity, and neighborhood-centered participation. Fees are scaled based on capacity to pay, ensuring that neighborhoods and residents are not burdened while larger institutions contribute at levels aligned with their resources.

After you submit this application, you will be taken to Givelify to pay your annual membership dues. Please be prepared to enter the amount that matches your selected membership category:

•      Neighborhood Association: $25

•      Individual Member: $15

•      Nonprofit or Church: $50–$100 (your self-determined amount)

•      Small Business: $125

•      Supporting Corporate Member: $150

•      Sustaining Corporate Member: $300

•      Anchor Corporate Member: $500
