The Brown Place Group Home Inc. presents Back 2 Skool: Time 2 Shine Part 2 on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the JPD Training Academy, 3000 St. Charles Street, Jackson, MS 39209. This free community event offers families free school supplies, free haircuts, free kids' updos and styles, food and drinks, and access to community resources and programs. Attendees can also enjoy fun, games, music, giveaways, and more as we prepare our kids for a bright future. The event is presented in partnership with Bottom Builders, Jayne Avenue Neighborhood Association, Representative Zakiya Summers serving District 68, Jackson NAACP, and Judge Tametrice Hodges.
