The Mississippi Capitol Police invites the community to a Public Safety Forum on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at New Horizons Church International, 1750 Ellis Avenue, Jackson, MS 39204. Doors open at 5:30 PM, and the panel discussion runs from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This forum brings together key law enforcement and community leaders for an open conversation on public safety in Jackson. The guest panel includes Capitol Police Chief Bo Luckey, Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones, Jackson Police Department Chief RaShall Brackney, and Honorable Judge Christopher Collins of the CCID Court.
