Rho Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, in partnership with the Institute for the Advancement of Minority Health, invites moms and moms-to-be to “Healthy Moms, Healthy Futures,” a community-centered event designed to support, educate and uplift mothers and families. Taking place April 18, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cade Chapel M.B. Church Center, this event offers a day of empowerment through maternal health advocacy, mental health and self-care support, infant CPR and safety, breastfeeding education and nutrition, and health screenings. Attendees can also enjoy community vendors, free diapers and baby items, door prizes, and a free lunch.
