Founded in 1980 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Mississippi Native Plant Society provides statewide education about native flora through meetings, field trips, workshops, plant sales and other activities.

Downtown Jackson is stepping into spring with intention, energy and a renewed sense of community as Downtown Jackson Partners launches its Downtown in Bloom spring series. Running from April 1 through May 16, the activation transforms one of the city’s most historic green spaces into proof that Jackson is not waiting to be discovered. It is already blooming.
