Greater Belhaven Foundation Seeks Input for Annual Planning

The Greater Belhaven Foundation is inviting neighbors to help shape its priorities for the year ahead. As part of its annual planning process, the foundation is asking residents, business owners and property owners to complete its stakeholder survey and share what matters most to them in the neighborhood.

Since its founding in 1999, the foundation has worked to strengthen Belhaven and Belhaven Heights by connecting residents and supporting projects that preserve the area’s historic character. It also oversees the state’s first Community Improvement District, which directs a portion of landowners’ property taxes toward neighborhood improvements.

Foundation leaders say feedback from the annual survey is essential for planning and measuring progress over time. The survey takes only a few minutes to complete.
