The Jackson City Council will host a Special Council Meeting on Thursday, January 22 at 6:00 PM in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 219 S. President St., to discuss grocery store access and vitality across the city.
This public hearing will bring together grocery store owners, former owners, residents, and community stakeholders to address food access in Jackson and explore ways the City can support existing stores, prevent closures, and attract new grocery options.
