Celebrate community, creativity, and connection at Seeds of Hope: A Block Party at Ms. Myrlie's Garden! This free, family-friendly event brings together residents of all ages for a day of music, gardening, storytelling, and hands-on activities.

Activities include live blues performances by Vasti Jackson and Keith Johnson, birding lessons, gardening classes, cooking and culinary demonstrations, crafts for all ages, and poetry readings by Jackson State University students, faculty, and local literary artists.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own food, lawn chairs, and good vibes. The event is free and open to families and community members.

The event runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and the park closes at 4:00 PM.
