The City of Jackson is hosting a Residential Debris Drop-Off Event on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to help residents safely dispose of excessive yard waste and large bulky items. Drop-off locations will be available at the Old Norwood Shopping Center, 1020 Forest Avenue, Jackson, MS 39206, and at Raines Park, 110 Flag Chapel Road. Acceptable items include household furniture, small appliances, general household debris, yard waste, and tires, while hazardous waste, paint or chemicals, and electronics will not be accepted.
