Jackson State University, in partnership with the Society of St. Andrew and Jacobs, presents Crop Drop 26 on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 9:00 AM to Noon at the Blackburn Middle School Parking Lot, 1311 West Pearl Street, Jackson, MS. Ten thousand pounds of sweet potatoes will be distributed free to the community. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 7:00 AM, and JSU student volunteers will receive community service hours for their participation. This event is presented by the JSU Office of Community Engagement.
