The Georgetown Community Neighborhood Association invites residents and volunteers to come together for a Community Cleanup focused on improving neighborhood conditions and strengthening community pride. Taking place on March 29 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., the cleanup will focus on Maple Street, west of Lanier, and Congo Street. Volunteers will meet at Lanier High School’s main parking lot before heading out to targeted areas in need of attention. Cleanup supplies, safety support, and volunteer hours will be provided, making it easy for community members of all ages to participate. This effort is an opportunity to take collective action, connect with neighbors, and contribute to a cleaner, more vibrant Georgetown.
