The City of Jackson invites residents to the Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Meeting on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grove Park Community Center, 4126 Parkway Avenue, Jackson, MS 39213. COPS is a strategy of policing focused on building ties and working closely with citizens of various communities. Speakers include members of various law enforcement agencies that serve and protect the city, elected officials, the fire department, and staff from various city departments. Meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of each month, with upcoming sessions on September 17, 2026, and October 15, 2026. No meetings will be held in November or December.
