The City of Jackson Office of Housing and Community Development will host a Contractor Informational Session on April 16, 2026, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at 350 Woodrow Wilson Ave. in Jackson, Mississippi. This session is designed for individuals interested in becoming vendors or contractors with the city and will cover the items needed to get started, why specific documentation is required, and what the city expects from contractors. Staff will also be available on site to assist with business licenses. The session is open to electricians, plumbers, HVAC and mechanical contractors, general contractors, roofers, and others interested in working with the city.
