The Center for Social Entrepreneurship, in partnership with Jackson State University Community Engagement, invites West Jackson community members to Beautify Your Outdoor Space, a free two-week hands-on class starting Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Led by industry experts, this engaging course teaches participants how to plant, prune, and beautify their outdoor environments. Attendees will learn the right techniques for planting trees, bushes, and shrubs, discover when and how to prune for healthy growth, choose the right trees and shrubs for their space, enhance the beauty, shade, and value of their neighborhood, and build skills they can use for years to come.
