The Local Organizing Committee of Jackson, Mississippi, invites residents from throughout the Jackson metropolitan area to a Town Hall Meeting and Strategy Session on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Family Life Center, 517 North Farish Street, Jackson, Mississippi 39202. Under the theme "Making the Community a Safe and Decent Place to Live: How to Police Your Community, Taking Control of Our Streets, Part 3," the evening will feature a distinguished panel of community leaders, elected officials, and law enforcement representatives who will discuss practical strategies for reducing crime, strengthening neighborhoods, and building partnerships that create lasting change.
