Women for Progress of Mississippi hosts its 2026 Judicial Candidate Forum and Meet & Greet on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, with doors opening at 5:30 PM at the Mississippi College School of Law, 151 East James Meredith Drive, Jackson, MS 39201. The forum features candidates in three races: incumbent Tametrice E. Hodges and challenger Bridgett B. Clayton for Hinds County Chancery Court District 5, Place 3; incumbent Cynthia Lee Brewer and challenger Rhonda Cecilia Cooper for Madison County Chancery Court District 1, Place 2; and incumbent Yemi Kings and challenger Bridgette Morgan for Hinds County Court Judge Subdistrict 2. Presented in partnership with the League of Women Voters Jackson Area, MS Black Women's Roundtable, NCBW 100 Central MS Chapter, and The Historic Farish Street Baptist Church.
