The Jackson Fire Department is hosting the Kids Academy, a community relations and fire safety education program for youth ages 7 to 14. The academy will take place June 1 through June 12, 2026, and will provide young participants with hands-on learning experiences focused on fire safety, community awareness, and the important role firefighters play in protecting the community. Through engaging activities and instruction from firefighters, children will gain valuable knowledge about emergency preparedness and safety while building positive connections with the Jackson Fire Department.
